PICTURE PERFECT CONTEST #2 -- A Cat Clips Special

Need Content for Your Blog Today? Feel Free to Embed Any of These Videos Into Your Own Blogs!

To find out how Tipi lost them, and how you can help her find them again to win prizes, watch the first PICTURE PERFECT contest video here:

Each week until the wedding (July), we will release 3-4 still shots taken from one of the past 246 episodes of CAT CLIPS. You will only be given half of the picture. Your job is to find the entire picture that matches that half.

To find them, all you need to do is watch past episodes of CAT CLIPS and keep your eyes open for the portion of the pictures you've been given. Once you find the video that the picture was taken from, and the approximate time during that video where the entire picture appears, be the first to let us know in the comments section below, or by writing us at feedback@wizardofwit.com and you will win a prize.

To view THIS WEEK'S PICTURES, click on the photo above or the link below:

YOU MUST INCLUDE the episode name or number, and the approximate time during the video that you think the picture was taken. (example: 2:33) ONLY THE FIRST PERSON TO FIND EACH PICTURE WILL WIN A PRIZE. New pictures will be released each Friday.

One prize per person per week. Over 25 prizes in all.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting!

Cat Clips Dialogue Contest RESULTS

Need Content for Your Blog Today? Feel Free to Embed Any of These Videos Into Your Own Blogs!

I recently held a contest on my YouTube channel (ScoobyHubby) for subscribers to watch some footage I shot of my cats and then write dialogue for it, giving them a chance to feel what it's like to write an actual Cat Clip. I was overwhelmed with the responses, and didn't feel I could actually pick a winner out of the many entrees. So I narrowed it down to five, and am now letting all my viewers help pick the winner.

If you would like to help as well, please click on the photo above and watch the first short video. Then when you are at my YouTube channel, you will see the other four videos in the series. After watching all five, feel free to cast your vote for your favorite. And if you're not already a subscriber, please consider subscribing as well. I can always use more support. (You'd have to sign up for a YouTube account, of course...which is FREE, very easy, and only takes a minute.)

Cat Clips -- DIALOGUE CONTEST

In this episode, the cats hold a contest to challenge their subscribers to write dialogue for one of their scenes. To view the video, please click on the picture above.

To enter the contest, you must be a YouTube subscriber to ScoobyHubby. Please watch the video and follow the instructions on how to write the dialogue. (AS YOUTUBE DOESN'T ALLOW MUCH ROOM FOR COMMENTS, IT MAY BE EASIER TO SEND YOUR DIALOGUE TO FEEDBACK@WIZARDOFWIT.COM) You can enter as many times as you like, but the contest ends on July 15th. Prizes will be announced later in July, and the winning writer will get his/her dialogue spoken by the cats in a future episode. Other cash and prizes are revealed in this video. Good Luck!

Dancing with the Scars

What would we ever do without Tom Bergeron and Samantha Whatsherface to keep us entertained between the Paso Dobles and the Cha Chas on “Dancing with the Stars?” His sometimes witty patter and her inane interviewing style are all we need to keep our brains nice and mushy during the entire two hour marathon. That is, if all the stars are actually able to make it to the taping of the show. Because this season in particular, it seems like there is a new devastating injury a week that will either hinder a contestant, or throw them out of the competition altogether.

The cynical side of me even wonders if perhaps the accidents are now built into the contracts, as a sure fire way to keep ratings up and viewers interested. If you twist an ankle, you get featured in a special segment and sympathy votes are sure to come your way by the millions. Especially if you manage to keep yourself upright for the entire minute and a half routine, or faint right afterwards like Marie Osmond did so cleverly a few seasons back. When octogenarian Cloris Leachman was on the show, she never sustained an injury. Well, not a life-threatening physical injury anyway. But her ridiculous antics and constant need for attention forever changed my view of her as a consummate professional.

And even though the casualties keep coming, there’s never a fear that the dancing will be over any time soon. For waiting in the wings is a never-ending collection of has-beens, wanna-bes, and whotheheckaretheys to step in at a moment’s notice to take their place. I mean, honestly, the nude guy from the shower scene in the “Sex and the City” movie? Does he really qualify as a star? Does anyone even know his name? I mean, I know the term “star” is totally overused for contestants like that Jilted Woman from “The Bachelor,” but when one nude scene qualifies you for stardom, there’s something definitely wrong with our value system.

But that’s just me. What do you think about the current crop on “Dancing with the Stars”?

As a special added bonus, I have included a “Dog Days” clip that features one dog’s dreams of someday being on the show. To watch the one minute video, please click on the photo below.
